We had an exciting demo class on Drone Technology conducted by Dandapani’s group, which gave students a clear and practical insight into the rapidly growing drone field. The session began with an easy explanation of different classes of drones, how they are classified based on size, purpose, and weight-carrying capacity, and where each type is commonly used.

The highlight of the session was the live drone demonstration, where the team showed the on/off operations, basic controls, and safety measures, making the concept very engaging and easy to understand. They also explained how payload capacity varies from lightweight camera drones to heavy-lift industrial drones, sparking curiosity among students.

Adding more excitement, the team informed us about drone learning and training opportunities available near the outskirts of Proddatur, encouraging students to take up hands-on training and build careers in this field. They strongly emphasized that drones are the future, with applications in agriculture, surveillance, delivery services, construction, disaster management, cinematography, and defense.

Overall, the session was informative, motivating, and future-oriented, leaving students inspired to explore drone technology not just as a hobby, but as a promising career path in emerging industries.
