Government Polytechnic, Proddatur proudly congratulates all the students who represented our institution in the Inter-Polytechnic Games and Sports Meet (IPSGM) 2025–26, held at Government Polytechnic, Jammalamadugu.

After rigorous internal selections, 45 talented students from our institute earned the honor of representing Government Polytechnic, Proddatur at the regional level. Their participation itself reflects discipline, dedication, and courage. Among them, several students emerged as regional-level winners and runners-up and are now qualified to compete at the State Level IPSGM, carrying the pride of our institution forward.

This achievement is not merely about medals or positions—it is about effort, endurance, teamwork, and the will to rise under pressure.


Athletics: Where Strength Meets Determination

Track and field events like High Jump and Long Jump demand explosive power, precision, and mental focus. Our students displayed exceptional control over technique and confidence, securing top positions at the regional level. These events symbolize how success often requires pushing beyond perceived physical limits—and that a single leap can change outcomes.

Javelin is a moment’s game—The javelin throw stands as a symbol of focus and timing. Our student’s regional-level victory highlights how preparation meets opportunity in that decisive second.




Indoor & Racket Sports: Strategy over Speed

🏸 Racket Sports – Agility, Strategy, and Precision

Badminton requires agility, anticipation, and mental sharpness. Whether in singles or doubles, our players displayed remarkable court awareness and resilience. Their wins reflect the importance of strategy, patience, and quick decision-making in both sports and life.

Singles badminton tests endurance, patience, and mental strength. Every rally is a lesson in persistence.

Table tennis is played in fractions of seconds. Their achievement highlights reflexes sharpened by practice and calmness under pressure. In table tennis, reflexes and synchronization matter. Our students proved that harmony between partners and calmness under pressure can convert fast rallies into winning points.

Chess is the battle of minds. Each move carries consequences. Chess teaches patience, foresight, and responsibility for every move. Our student’s success in chess represents strategic thinking, foresight, and discipline—qualities that extend far beyond the board into academic and professional life.


🀼 Kabaddi: When Seconds Decide Destiny

Among all events, Kabaddi stood as a powerful reminder of never giving up.

Kabaddi is not just a sport—it is courage, teamwork, and mental toughness combined. 

In the semi-final match, with just 30 seconds remaining, the team faced a critical situation—points were needed to secure a place in the final. At that defining moment, K. Manideep (CME Department) stepped forward with extraordinary courage.
He went on a do-or-die raid, scored crucial points, and then successfully defended an opponent’s raid, almost single-handedly turning the game around and leading the team into the regional-level final.

Though the team finished as runners-up in the final, their journey is etched in inspiration.

Even when time is running out, even when odds are against us, we must fight with everything we have. Sometimes, life gives us only a few seconds—but those seconds can define who we are.

🏸 Ball Badminton (Doubles) – Third Place (District Meet)

Ball badminton is a fast-paced game where speed, stamina, and coordination decide the outcome of every rally. In the District Meet, our team fought with great determination and missed a higher position by just one point, yet their courage, confidence, and fighting spirit never faded.

Throughout the matches, the players demonstrated excellent teamwork, quick reflexes, and strong court coverage, maintaining calmness even under intense pressure. Their performance proved that synchronization between partners and mental strength are key to converting tough rallies into winning points.

Securing Third Place at the District Level is a commendable achievement and reflects their hard work, resilience, and never-give-up attitude.
