The GST 2.0 awareness campaign was held to educate students about the updated Goods and Services Tax (GST) reforms. The campaign included interactive sessions, essay writing, drawing, and elocution competitions focusing on the significance of GST changes and their impact on businesses and the economy. Officials and resource persons guided students through tax concepts and practical examples, enhancing their understanding of modern financial systems. The event concluded with prize distribution and recognition of outstanding contributions.
GST Committee of this Institution headed by K. Manjunath HEEE, Final year students of Computer Engineering headed by S. Venkat Mohan SL/CME.

Highlights:

  • Palem Guru Murthy Reddy, Principal, Government Polytechnic, Proddatur officially inaugurated this awareness campaign among the students of this institution.

  • The Municipal Commissioner, GST Commissioner and other relevant dignitaries visited our institution on 08-10-2025. They guided our students with valuable key points on GST 2.0. They attended the Elocution competition and appreciated our students' efforts.

  • Students and Staff of Government Polytechnic, Proddatur.

As per the instructions of the Director of Technical Education, various competitions such as essay writing, drawing and Elocution are conducted to make students aware of GST 2.0.

The following are the details of competitions.

  1. Essay writing competition on 07.10.2025 @ 11.30 AM in DH1. 

Topic: Key features and benefits of GST 2.O.

  1. Drawing competition on 07.10.2025 @ 3 PM in DH 1.

Topic: Super GST - Super Savings.

  1. Elocution competition on 08.10.2025 @ 11AM in Computer Lab 1.

Topic: Benefits of GST 2.O reforms to education sector.


  • In continuation of this effort, staff members conducted awareness programs on GST 2.O in classrooms. 

  • The prize distribution function was held @ 3.30 PM on 13.10.2025 in the computer lab - 1.

After successfully conducting the programs, the winners are announced.
They are then honored and awarded for their outstanding performance.
