Annual Day
The Annual Day celebrations began on an auspicious note with the lighting of the ceremonial diya, followed by a melodious invocation song that created a graceful and positive atmosphere. The dignitaries were then formally invited onto the dais, including the Chief Guest Sri B. Jaya Rami Reddy (Professor), YSR Engineering College, Proddatur, and the Guests of Honor Sri A. Nirmal Kumar Priya, Regional Joint Director of Technical Education, Tirupati, and Sri G. Jaya Chandra Reddy (Professor), Department of Mechanical Engineering, YSR Engineering College, Proddatur. Their esteemed presence added dignity and inspiration to the occasion.
The cultural segment brought vibrant colors and festive charm to the programme. A traditional Bharatanatyam dance, elegantly performed by a final-year CME girl, showcased classical grace and discipline. This was followed by an energetic mash-up dance by first-year CME girls, which captivated the audience with their enthusiasm and perfect coordination. Students from other branches also presented lively folk, western, and fusion dance performances, highlighting the diverse talents of the institution.
Sports achievements were celebrated with great pride. The Computer Engineering (CME) students of first, second, and third years won the Cricket Cup, reflecting excellent teamwork, sportsmanship, and unity. In the teachers’ cricket match, the Man of the Match award was proudly received by Sri P. Rajesh Sir (Lecturer), Department of CME, in recognition of his outstanding performance.
Towards the end of the celebrations, groups of boys danced separately at the backside of the venue, joyfully vibing to the music and enjoying the moment. Their spontaneous participation added youthful energy and liveliness to the atmosphere. The joy and excitement captured in the photographs—smiling faces, thunderous applause, and cheerful interactions—beautifully reflected the vibrant spirit of togetherness.
The event concluded successfully at 10:30 p.m., making the Annual Day a memorable and spirited celebration for students, faculty, and esteemed guests alike.
